Project Timeline

  • Digital Navigators of the Hudson Valley launched in January 2022 and is supported with federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds allocated to the New York State Library by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS; imls.gov) and administered by Southeastern NY Library Resources Council in partnership with Mid-Hudson Library system and Ramapo Catskill Library System.
  • In February 2022, we trained a cohort of 73 people from 50 institutions in the Hudson Valley on how to provide Digital Navigator Service.
  • In March 2022, the service went live, and these cohort members started meeting with clients from all around the region.
  • The grant supports this work through March 2023, and could extend beyond that time. Please check the directory to find organizations that currently have active Digital Navigator programs.
